Once the set-out is complete, the former occupant’s keys become the biggest hole in your security. Copies circulate, and a returning tenant can reoccupy the unit within hours.

Licensed, Bonded & Insured, with 25 years serving Maryland, Washington DC and Northern Virginia, King Locksmiths documents every job for your file. Request a free quote today.

King Locksmith was the absolute best! They communicated incredibly well, were prompt, reasonably priced,, super efficient and really, really nice. Definitely 5 stars! Don’t look any further. A must use company!!!
We had a great experience with King Locksmith and Doors. They were professional, prompt, and knowledgeable from start to finish. They took the time to explain everything, completed the job efficiently, and made sure everything was working perfectly before they left. It’s clear they care about their customers and take pride in their work. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, honest, and high-quality locksmith service. Thank you again!
Big shout out to technician Vernon. I ran into an unexpected problem in changing the code on an older lock that I have successfully done a couple dozen times in the past 20 years. I called King Locksmith and they sent me Vernon. Although not familiar with my old lock, he had the expertise to find the info he needed to resolve my issue. Not only was he very competent, he has very good customer service manners and accepted my attempts to be helpful.
A neighbor recommended this company for trickier doors in an older house. Mightily impressed by Vernon, master locksmith, a new hire at King Locksmith and Doors, who was knowledgeable and personable. He was able to reinstall a lever and lock that had been removed by a handyman (who then could not figure out how to put it back in), and bring it back to full function, thereby securing a whole area of the house. Vernon also assessed other doors and locks that have been giving us trouble, outlining the process for repairing and replacing each. We will be using King Locksmith and Doors again, and requesting Vernon when we do!
Their professionalism and customer service is superb. This team will follow up regarding status of technician name and arrival times, delivery of parts ordered, etc. From the moment you call you are treated with respect and courtesy. They did an outstanding job.
King Locksmith and Doors did an amazing job installing my new screen door! The whole team was professional, on time, and very easy to work with. They helped me choose the right screen door for my home, and the installation came out perfect. Everything looks clean, fits great, and works smoothly. You can tell they really care about the quality of their work. I’m very happy with the results and would definitely use King Locksmith and Doors again for future projects!
King Locksmith never disappoints!!! I hired them for the second time after an amazing experience a few years ago. Hard to believe that they could improve, but their service — and their team — has only gotten better! From first contact on the phone (and I apologize for not remembering the name of the lovely, helpful woman I spoke with who arranged the serrvice call super promptly) to the actual service less than 24 hours later, King Locksmith is stellar!!! Vernon, the locksmith who performed the work at my house, was phenomenal. Not only did he address the problem with my lock, he went above and beyond devising an elegant solution to what could could have been a slap-dab job had it not been performed by a professional like Vernon. He is a true asset to the King Locksmith team! You’re lucky to have him! Highly recommend King Locksmith!
We couldn’t turn our knob inside or outside to enter or exit. King Locksmith saved the day on a Saturday no less🤗 This is the third time I’ve used them. They are definitely my go to for locksmiths in a lockout or if you just need to change the locks.
I had such a wonderful experience with King Locksmith and Doors Inc. This is the first time I’ve used their services, and they truly exceeded my expectations. My most recent project was a major storefront door repair after a burglary. The glass was broken, the lock was badly damaged, and the door was almost falling off the hinges. From the moment I contacted King Locksmith and Doors, they professionally walked me through the entire process and provided upfront pricing with no surprises. The very same day, they sent two skilled and professional technicians who completed the work efficiently and within the timeframe they promised. The replacement glass arrived within a week, and they returned exactly as scheduled to install it. They handled everything with great care, responsibility, and professionalism. What really stood out to me was how smooth and stress-free they made the entire process. Their communication, professionalism, and attention to detail gave me confidence from start to finish. I will definitely continue using their services for any door or lock issues in the future. Thank you very much to the entire team at King Locksmith and Doors Inc. for making everything simple and stress-free!
This is the 2nd time in a few years I have used King Locksmith. Always a great job in my experience. This time they repaired a bi-fold door that wouldn’t stay in its track. Technician came the same day and was able to fix it. So nice not to have the door wobbling around anymore.
Our technicians have worked eviction set-outs and turnovers for 25 years across Maryland, Washington DC and Northern Virginia: garden apartments with keyed-alike cylinders, rowhouses with three generations of deadbolts, condos on restricted keyways, and retail units on interconnected locks. So we recognize a seized cylinder, a mismatched backset, or a compromised master key system on sight, and we finish cleaner and faster, without a second visit.
King Locksmiths quotes every eviction lock change and turnover rekey upfront, in writing, before a technician touches a door.
There are no hidden fees, no trip charges buried in the invoice, and no surprise surcharges for after-hours set-outs. Estimates are free, and volume turnover work is priced per unit so property managers can budget a full month in advance. Three things move the number:
